ELEVATED TO EXCELLENCE he freshman cheerleaders continued the spirited tradition of Vines. Christi Carter, Missy Chandler, Heather Boyd, Kim Goodman, Jill Clayton, Katherine Mcln- tosh, Cathy Hinkley, Merri Lazarine, Melissa Bailey, and Kristin King were 10 girls who made us proud. At cheerleader camp the frosh had a per- fect week. They received all blue ribbons and were nominated tor the Award of Excellence. The Viking Freshmen Cheerleaders set a new tradition by elevating freshmen spirit to a near-equal level as the sophomores.
