Among their explorations were a trip to Six Flags to observe physics, an insect collecting trip, a geology trip to Oklahoma, a visit to T.C.U. to see an electron microscope, a hospital tour, and a trip to the Heard Museum. They also participated in can and paper drives. This year's Vines organization was successful in unlocking the mysteries of science. THE BACKBO E OF 0 R COU TRY Future Farmers Of America he future lies in their hands. FFA, another successful Vines organization, was busy participating in many activities this year. On October 11, the F FA students took part in the Ammie Wilson Heritage Day celebration. The Vines students also constructed a float for the Plano Christmas parade that honored all future farmers in Plano. Each member of FFA raised an animal throughout the year. In March, the group sold the animals that they raised that year. Because of Mr. Wyatt's excellent training, all members were a success at the sale. This year's officers included: President, Chris Allman, Vice President, Will Dasmondg Secretary, Leslie Pipes, Treasurer, Brad Perrin, Representative, David Johnson, Sentinel, Todd Rainwater, Student Advisor, Lonnie Strauser. Chris Allman and Leslie Pipes went to an officer's leadership training.
