ETT 'MlfZ5Z T fF5'f-'1'39 Band Days ith the August temperature so high, heat rose from the pavement making the air wavy and thick. Yet the largest organization at Vines practiced on the hot pavement, not once but twice daily. The Vines marching band, dedicated to'the tradition of excellence, thrilled audiences from football games to the concert arena. Using a Latin America theme, band members performed at each home game with stereophonic sound and intricate patterns. Performances included thrilling half-times, a spaghetti supper, Christmas concerts, U.I.L. competitions and a contest at Six Flags. Joining in these performances were the members of the Flag Corps.
