You know them, you love them, Krunch and Caremel Bars. Pratically every organization sells these by the cases. PASSING THE BUCK verybody loves to have extra money in their pockets, and school clubs are no exception. ln order to fund extra field trips or special banquets, club members must use their best sales techniques to convince friends, neighbors, and relatives their cause is a worthy one to fund. So off with their boxes or order sheets they go to earn surplus bucks. Candy is the most popular and used fund- raising product. After all, candy doesn't last forever, and, when it's gone, people come back for more. What a great concept! The band members also sell subscriptions to popu- lar magazines to readers, records and tapes to music buffs, and later on in the year huge bags of pecans to those who eat nuts. The vain mem- bers of the school body had the chance to buy a Wide variety of mirrors and frames from the choir. Most of them conveniently fit into lock- ers and on locker doors for a better look at loved ones all day long. Nonetheless, no mat- ter what products are sold by club members to raise extra dough, there are always eager, young, shining faces out there prepared to help that group or club raise funds. The Vines Band had many fundraising activities , such as selling magazines and pecans.

Drama sponsored the Halloween social to raise money for its organizational needs. R fs. .. s . 2 i vs In will Many parents volunteered their time to sell baked goods during lunch to help their teenagers' favorite or- ganization. The Vikettes had a number of fundraising activities such as selling candy canes and Viking buttons. Balloons were sold to students and re- leased at a football game for a show of school spirit and to say good luck to the football team.
