Under the direc- tion of Coach Adair, the team easily won first in the district. With a record of 21 wins and 4 losses, Vines jumped ahead of the other district mem- bers. Continuously putting forth more effort and hard work than the other 190 teams, Vines came pre- pared for each game. With Coach Adair's mind and the talent of the Vines players, an awe- some team was assem- bled. A little overconfi- dence made the team lose an occasional game but also made the players realize that they were not unbeatable just really good. ln off-season practice, Jeff Bing Stringer, Chris Peter and David Adams take short shots at the basket.
