Playing consistant, good foot- ll is usually a problem for any nm, high school or pro. Howev- Vines stunned their opponents d themselves by playing one od game after another. Vines t only two games during the season, one to Claris and one to Lewisville Marcus. Displaying excellent technique and form, Vines performed each game with precision and dedica- tion. Placing second in the district, Vines surprised and stunned ev- eryone. Led by a new head coach, Gary Brazil, the team es- tablished more pride and spirit than ever before. Ending the season second in the district was a shock to most of the players, but as most admitted, it was a pleasant shocl-1. Even the coaches wore smiles when all was said and done.
