Darby Throgmorton Gary Davis looic up the history of marzo crackers. .,mM....u .M WM.o..w.e,wNemcWawWtesWsssesmmsww he Vines chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes was organized for both guys and girls. Everyone was invited to events and meetings, it was not restricted to just athletes. Coach Bailey sponsored the guys meetings, and Coach Mcl4eon and Coach Lynch sponsored all the girls activities. This year the Vines FCA had a hotdog roast together with football and volleyball games. They also had a guest speaker from Texas AGM talk to them. wssmsxwwaw The coed group met with the Plano Senior High chapter on Thursday, November 14, to hear former SMU football stan- dout, Joe White, speak. Throughout the year they also attended a SMU vs. Rice foot- ball game, a Dallas Mavericks game and a Dallas Sidekicks game. They also hosted sever- al local activities. To earn mon- ey this year they sold candy, and the girls sold calendars also. This year was a very exciting and productive year for the Vines FCA. The goals of F.B.L.A. are familiarizing the students with careers and the free-enterprise system. Each month the club highlighted a differ- ent career with guest speakers and lectures.
