VINES UNIQUE, SPECIAL The Vines Student Body, well, it's just unique, said Leslie Tubbs. The feeling of uniqueness is attributed to many things by the stu- dents of Vines. According to Lisa Myscowski, Vines unique attitude stems from having to share some of the most formative years. The two years spent at Vines are matur- ing years so we all share the aches and pains of this growing, said Mys- cowski, l'and if the sopho- mores are tough on the freshmen, it's because we want them to learn the importance of respresent- ing Vines and leading it. 44 Another student feels that is the community eye that makes Vines unique. Every time something bad happens like one of us makes a really dumb mistake, the news people make sure to put Vines all over the front page, he said, and that makes us stick together we're not perfect here at Vines, but neither is any body else from any of the other schools. We stick to- gether because we're a family, a second family, said Shawn Pratt,- Mr. Walker makes that plain from the first day we're here, and the teachers show us they care, at least most of them, about us and our feelings so we're like a family. We're real close here at Vines from the faculty on down to the students, said R.D. Lashar, because we're taught to be unique individuals. I'm sure most people feel that way, but we're talking about Vines, and Vines is definitely unique. We all feel pretty special about it and each other. lll wish everybody could see how neat Vines is, said Michelle Schneider, lland see the closeness. Vines is really special unique.
