MeeTing Twice a week, The Team worked on meeTing Their goal of becoming naTional champions by hard pracTice and being good aT answering relevanT quesTions. The requiremenTs for being a member of The Whiz Quiz Team were having good memory recall and being able To Think and being quick wiTh The buzzer. The purpose of the organization is to develop leadership skills and to emphasize the value of truth, love, security, and faith within our families. ttl feel I have learned more at the city council meetings and leadership conventions, than l have learned in a week of school. said Susie Friend when asked about FHA. The officers of the club are as follows: President - Susie Friend; Vice Presidents - Nicole Giles, Nancy Whorton, Melindo Primm, Michelle McSpodden, Christy Fry; Secretory - Mory Arrison; Historian - Kreston Deon. Some of their re- sponsibilities were to run the meetings, organize functions, and to plan activities. The members of FHA had 0 very busy year. For instance they attended council meetings, and leadership conventions. They also sponsored the Great American Smoke Out at Vines. FHA is a place for people who wont to get involved, and for people who are interested in the world around them.
