Some of The fund raising acTiviTies are The school sTore and bake soles ThroughouT The year. Money made off The fund raising ocTiviTies are being spenT on equipmenT such as new gym equipmenT and weighTs. An- oTher purchase is landscaping for The fronT of The school and The back. The N.J.H.S. also sponsors Purple Pride Week. Purple pride is a week long calendar of evenTs for The enTire school. The calen- dar includes The Theme of pride in school and The communiTy such as clean up days, club compeTi- Tion and awards assemblies. Where TenTh graders are recog- nized for ochievemenT in sub- jecTs, mosT improved subjecT, Sophomore of The year, and sev- erol oTher differenT awards.
