The Vines Chapter of the F.F.A. has been active in many Stock Shows around the state during the year. ln the Southwest- ern Exposition and Fat Stock Show, the first show of the year. Brian Lowe placed 2nd and Pow- ell Cannon placed 8th in a class of I7. Daryll Beavers placed 24th in a class of 72. Numerous Ag. students entered their cattle in the i . My heros have always been cowboys. Buddy Szaley lookin' tough. Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. February 26-March 2. Last on the F.F.A. agenda was the Collin County Livestock Show, March 26-29. held in McKinney. Many members of F.F.A. participated in the McKinney Show. ln the spring, the four Plano F.F.A. Chapters participated in a Special Project Show. which allowed all members to show their livestock projects. Each student had a project to take care of during the year. These projects could be anything from a cow to a pig. and each stu- dent had the opportunity to show his or her project in stock shows around the state.
