Denise Marek as 10th grade vice-presi- dent, Monique Watson as 9th grade vice-president, and Tari Staton as secretaryltreasurer. They sold Gummy Bears and attended the North Texas Region .Asa German Club Novemberfest Contest. S panzsh Spanish Club members had a muy bueno year. They partici- pated in a food fair. in which they sold Mexican food, which was one of their major activities. Other fund raising activities lub M uy Bueno Year included selling candy and carna- tions on Valentine's Day. ln December. they had a Christmas Party with German and Latin Club. ln April. the club attended the State Convention of the Pan Row l: Chris Zinkland, .lane Smallwood, Janet Van Beek, Kathleen Maeehio, Mrs. Bovee, Vicki Coleman, Elizabeth Wellman. Karen Womer, Missy Tinkle. Row 2 Nat Pelegrini, Damon Dwarak, Richard Davenport, Javien Marull, Robert Hicks, Lloyd Sarlor, Greg Muers, Debbie MeQuia'cli'. , Vicki Colman thinks Spanish is tops. 5 l ini' Janet Van Beck can't get into the Spanish scene. American Student Forum in San Antonio. Senor Marquez was the sponsor of the Spanish Club, and he helped the club have an enjoy- able and successful year. Robby Hicks enjoys the Spanish Elizabeth Welman sometimes wonders ifitls worth it. Greg Myers isnlt sure Spanish is for him.

Orchestra - o Strings Attached Orchestra played their part in student activity this year. They raised money to go to a clinic and a contest at Six Flags through bake sales, donut sales. and sell- ing candy bars. They went to an U.I.L. contest and many of the Linda Zeiner day- Just another pretty face? Practicing towards perfec- tion. members received first division places in the solo ensemble con- test. Carmen Falls, Kristi Swier- enga, Michelle Gresset, Alfred Shen, and David Richardson, made all region orchestra. Car- man Falls and David Richardson C. J. Shen, Cheryl Hartman, and Luann Martin jiddle around on a new tune. Neal Marshal and David Richardson jammini also placed in all state orchestra and performed in San Antonio. We would like to congratulate these members of the Vines orchestra.
