The 10th grade boys basketball team, coached by John Walker, ended the year with a season record of I2-14. They played in the South Garland tournament and won 3rd place. In the first round they beat W. T. White. They lost to North Garland in the second round, and in the third round they beat Lewisville. Rod Steging was the team leader by averaging 15.4 points per game, 8 rebounds, and a 5823 free throw average. Todd Palmer came in second averaging 9.5 points per game, 7.7 rebounds, and a 43'fZ3 free throw average. Greg Griffin was third in the statistics averag- ing 8.7 points per game, 3.6 rebounds and a 6076 free throw average. Joe Durrett followed him with a point average of 5.7, 3.9 rebounds, and a 42'Zi free throw average.
