MISS RITA S. CRESCI Miss Rita Cresci, to whom we. the senior class of 1952, dedicate this yearbook, has meant much more to us than an instructor or teacher at Vineland High School. She has been our senior class advisor, and besides guiding our class for four years. Miss Cresci has been a true friend to each and every one of us. Those seeking advice, explanations, or help, knew that they were being treated with alacrity by Miss Cresci, no matter how busy or engrossed in her work she was. Her friendly and engaging ways are a familiar part of her personality. Born right in Vineland, Miss Cresci was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School. She then attended Chestnut Hill College for four years and received her Bachelor of Science degree in English. She later came to Vineland High School and has been teaching in the Eng- lish department ever since. Miss Cresci has worked diligently with many students during our four years in high school. As a member of the guidance depart- ment. she has helped us in selecting a college, school or profession; and she has guided us in electing the proper subjects in high school. She has been our class advisor for four years, has headed the candy selling and greeting card campaigns, and has also directed the magazine sales. Miss Cresci was the advisor for our Sophomore Party, and our Ring Dance; she worked assiduously toward making our Wash- ington trip a never to be forgotten experience. Without Miss Cresci's undivided counsel and supervision in these matters, many of our class projects would not have proved a success. No amount of words can serve as an expression of our appreciation to you. Miss Cresci, but in our small and humble way, we, the class of 1952, wish to thank you for the influence that you have exercised upon us in cur four years stay at Vineland High School. We are very proud to dedicate this 1952 Record to you, our friend. Miss Rita Cresci.
