WE K OW THEM MARY MARGARET BARRON M, M, paid a visit to Europe during which she acquired a relish for everything German -- food, scenery, and people. She likes any kind of music, dancing or sports and people who talk as much as she does. Postulants'parties fascinate her. Fosters a filial devotion to Saint Joseph. Dislikes doing homework on Sunday -- writing letters -- taking pictures and keeping quiet. Her motto is: 'Do your very best and let God do the rest.' Ambition is to be a good V. S. C. HELEN JANE BODNAR 'Janie' previously attended Latrobe High School. This ambitious senior has a particular liking for Saint Jude and P, O, D, class. She enjoys all sports -- especially wrestling! Her latest fancy is the piano although she dislikes practice. ls ambi- tious of becoming afirst grade teacher asa V. S, C. ANNE BUTLER 'Anne' a resident of New York, has contributed generously to the spirit of Vincentian. Immensely interested in baseball, she plays quite well, and roots for the N, Y. Giants . She likes singing, act- ing, and debating. Has built up an immunity to Re- publicans, ironing, and the Dodgers. Her ambition is to appear on the New York stage. DOROTHY CROSKEY Dolly is a member of Saint Catherine's, Wild- wood. She likes to dance. Swimming is her favorite sport. She aspires to become an outstanding house- wife and mother. PATRICIA DOBY Pat has a great liking for potatoes in any size shape, or form. Her newly acquired smile is evoked whenever she merely hears potatoes mentioned. Be- sides this special characteristic, she is also noted for her humor, sparkling personality, dislike of sour notes, and love of sweet harmony and Tchiakovsky. Her favorite saying: St, Joe, help me nowl' Her main desire -- to become a worthy spouse of Christ. DOROTHY DURCI Dorothy has answered the Lord's Come follow Me. and is at the beginning of her-journey to per- fection. Having high scholastic ability, she has man- aged to keep first place on the honor roll every semester for her entire four years at V, H, S, Frank ways and being particular about those little things are her dominant characteristics. Plays the violin and is interested in piano. Often found helping others in their art difficulties. She finds shorthand appeal- ing. St. Jude is her favorite intercessor. She lives up to her motto, 'Anything worth doing is worth doing well. PATRICIA FITZGERALD Pat , a versatile senior at V. H. S., comes from St. Sebastians. Her favorite sports are riding and swimming. Any subjects on science interest her. After graduation she hopes to further her education in one of sciences various fields. PATRICIA GRACAN Gracie comes from St. Rita's, Whitaker. She aims to be a secretary. She has a special like for dancing, softball, eating, talking, and most of all sleeping. She is dubbed Shorty . She tries to avoid those taller people. fThey scare her.J ALMEDA HOOVER Almeda came to V. H.S. in her junior year. After graduation she hopes to go into nurses training and later major in Pediatrics. Though not a whiz in typing, she finds that it is her favorite skill. ln the not near future, God Willing, she hopes to marry and raise a large, family. MARGARET HORNICK - - 'Margie' belongs to St. Teresa's Parish, Perrys- ville. She is fond of movies, dancing, and playing cards. ls striving to become a good secretary. Her favorite subjects are religion and typing. You can often find her in the seniors home room asking for class dues.
