v l orbit VINCENT MASSEY JUNIOR HIC-H SCHOOL CALGARY, ALBERTA This has been another active year at Vincent Massey. All of our previous activities have been carried on and new clubs added to meet the changing needs of the student body and staff. Unfortunately, our enrolment has increased to the point that our facilites are crowded, particularly in the areas of science and library. Our two demonstration rooms and one science laboratory are used as home rooms leaving only the second lab free for general scheduling of science classes. Discussions are to be held with administrative officers concerning planning and reorganization of library space. With the addition of new books and shelving some of the furniture will have to be removed which means fewer numbers of students can use the library for research, free reading and browsing. Our Orbit committee has worked under severe handicap because it has had to operate from a poorly lighted area under the wood shop. We congratulate the member for perservance and enthusiasm for their project. Their efforts will surely be rewarded. PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE i jUyyi juvo 4 u3 - o - 0 . (5L.
