PROPHECY I, Janice McV1car, now living in Colorado, was on my way home to attend the al mni banquet when I met Elnora Gollum, who just returned from Japan where she has been a missionary. After talking for awhile we decided to come home together. In Indianapolis we had a lay-over and while we were waiting we found that Mark Burnfield was racing in the 500 mile lap. As always he still can't decide on a girl for his wife. as we were watching the races we saw Frieda Anderson, who is working in New York as a Buyer and was in Indianapolis to make a business transaction. The three of us then made the trip home together. Upon arriving in Vincent we were amazed at the change of the town. The first person we saw was Dorothy Morr1s.who is married and living in Columbus. She told us that Carl Goudy has an Electric Shop on the west end of Vincent and is doing very well. We were walking down the street and had to take a second look to recognize Adeline Smith, who is teaching in the University of Texas. We glanced into a large store window and it was Wainwrights. We went in to find B111 Meek talking to Marvin Metheney. Bill is manager of the store and Marvin is pres. of a large trucking firm at Barlow. They told us about Donald Greenlees, who is running for governor of Ohio. Don met a girl in Columbus and is now married. Across the street we saw a barber shop owned by Darrell Knost. He was very proud to tell us he and his wife Marilyn have just moved into s new house. There was a picture of the Ohio State basketball teamwberm Tom Barrett is coaching. They havn't lost a game this season. Tom was coming to the banquet so we looked forward to talk- ing to mm. As we entered the gym we were greeted by Betty Maze and Vera Dowlen who are still together but are now Mrs. Fill and Mrs. Orndoff Betty is very proud of her black haired daughter, while Vera is just as proud of her red-headed boy. As we went on in we met Wayne Everson, who is the owner of the Everson Garage in Belpre. While talking to him he showed us pictures of B111 Grimm and his huge farm in Kansas. Just then Raymond Peckens drove in with his beautiful wife. They are living at Layman. We went on through the gym to see Thad Stanley, now a successful doctor practicing in New York. He told us John Preston is an engineer working on a project in South America. We met Kathleen Harvey, she is married and has twins. She told us about Alma Dowler, who is secretary to the Pres. Sam Miracle is owner of a Mattress Co. in Chicago. He told ue Dallas Reynolds is an Air Force Lt. in Calif. Donald Beha and his wife Ruth are running a large dairy in Marietta. Last but not least is Marvin Scott who is now a rich real-estate dealer in Florida.
