A. Message From The President 1985-1986 Academic Year Dear Students and Campus People: The 1985-1986 yearbook is a chronicle of the major events of the academic year. This book includes pictures of events which thousands of students will remember. Campus life is reflected in the pictures of classes, laboratories, and the many student activities and fun things which occurred. It is often stated that those who give the most receive the most. The VU yearbook is an attempt to provide a pictorial history of the activities which were important at VU in 1985-1986. Those students’ pictures who have participated or given to the various clubs, organizations, performing groups, and athletic teams can be seen. The value of the yearbook is that it provides a collection of memories for all students, and shows the spirit of campus life. This yearbook has pictures of the campus development which has occurred and the highlights of the academic year’s events. I hope the readers of the yearbook will find pictures of the activities which they have enjoyed, and that good memories will result. | appreciate the dedicated work of the yearbook staff, and hope everyone enjoys their “walk down memory lane” as they view the pictures of the 1985-1986 campus events.
