14 DAD’S WEEKEND Dad’s Weekend was October 28 and 29. Events included a bowling tournament, Presi- dent’s reception, luncheon, Robert Klein in concert, a fly-in sponsored by the Flying Blazers and the annual Variety Show. The all-campus variety show consisted of 25 acts. The group competition was very close. First place went to Sigma Phi Epsilon for their version of American Bandstand. Alpha Theta Chi captured second place for the ‘Land of V.U.,” a take-off from ‘The Wizard of Oz.” Clark Hall residents became kittens for their third place entry, “Daddy Come Home.” Sigma Phi Epsilon provides a flash from the past with “American Bandstand.” Students form a chorus line and kick up their heels. The Clark Hall Kittens entertain the crowd.

SHOOD The race is very close between these two coeds. A member of the Lambda Chi Alpha team takes her turn in the chicken walk relay. Many students enjoy watching the games. 13

Two members of the quartet, Les Girls give their rendition of “My Guy.” Alpha Theta Chi takes a trip down the Trailblazer Trail in the Land of V.U. The men of Harrison Hall and “Dolly” perform in “The Best Little Dormhouse in Vincennes.” Residents from Vigo Hall act and sing enthusiastically during their skit. President Summers speaks to the students and parents at the luncheon in the Trailblazer Room. 15
