FIRST DAYS AT VU With the opening days of college comes the adjustment to a new way of life; for freshmen, making new friends and becoming independent; for seniors, renewing their old friendships and ‘cracking the books” for another year. aS the 4 io Se oe! These days include such activities as the long wait through registra- tion line, officially becoming a fresh- man—symbolized by the beanie— the traditional ‘‘tug-of-war’” between the freshmen and seniors, and the hectic process of buying books. And finally, there is time for just relaxing in the shade with new friends.

LIFE AT VINCENNES ees ut Life at Vincennes is a hectic com- bination of work and fun. The col- lege atmosphere on the V.U. cam- pus is a friendly lure to anyone who wants to be a part of the lively college scene. Good times are in existence every- where. The anxious peeks in the mailbox for letters from friends, sociable chats with friends during Spare time, and snacking in the Union are just a few of the pas- times of V.U. students. “Siggy,” the canine friend of Sigma Pi, offers an immediate attraction to any dog lover. These events and others all offer memories to anyone who wishes to reach out and keep them.
