As college students, our everyday lives are interwoverftwith the intricate concepts of time. Nothing within our grasp has such uneasiness as does time, yet thrift of time will repay us in our years to come with profits beyond our most treasured dreams. As college students, we are now beginningmto realize that we are to add what we can to life- not just to get as much as we can out of it. It has often been said that the wise in heart and mind count every hour. As students, we too count the hours- whether in the classroom, at a campus event, or on a date -and add to our lives each day one more chapter of treasured memories which will come expressly from our time wisely spent here. We all wonder at the individuals who strive almost endlessly to foretell the distant fu- tLu'e, but at the same time we must realize that our grand business in life is not to foresee what lies dimly in the future, but to do what lies alreadyfat hand. In the words of Aurelius, Every man's life lies within the presentg for the past is spent and done with, and the future is uncertain. Our life aticollege is ours to live. The best preparation for our future work is to do our work as well as we can today. Because of the tremendous and worldly influence of time in our everyday lives, this year's Le Revoir has tried to capture some of those unforgettable mo- ments of special importance in our life at VU. AsiFather Time looks on and the golden sands sift through the hourglass, we tell you our story . . .
