Spirit of the Anniversary of the University Ten years ago Vincennes University made its historic move to the new Harrison Park campus. Left behind were inadequate and deteriorating facilities, but not some 75 years of tradition and devoted at- tachment to the old campus. The decade which has ensued has seen the new campus expand, the program of the University grow in its breadth and usefulness, and new traditions established which will be revered in the years to come. The story of Vincennes University’s growth onits new campus is a thrilling story, one which includes the leadership of a splendid Board of Trustees, and of an able, devoted faculty. It includes the loyalty and generosity of literally hundreds of alumni and friends whose financial contributions and many other types of assistance have made the growth possible. It also includes the story of a growing and worthy student body whose capacity and scholarship have brought them to places of leadership all over the na- tion. The past ten years will always be remembered as the period for the building of the new Vincennes University.
