AND READING 5- Q: Although the library is often thought of as a place where must references are found, such is not the case at Lincoln High. Here over l0,000 volumes are stored and catalogued. The greater percent are volumes intended for enioyment in reading. Through perusing the many books and magazines, the student attains a better under- standing as to how to use his leisure. The joy of playing a musical instrument in harmony with others is revealed to students in the Lincoln High School Band. To create professional musicians is not the primary aim of Lincoln High, but rather to instill in the student an appreciation of music and the ability to work together with others.
