To be bold enough to step forward and help someone’s dreams along requires special energy. But Villanova’s dreamers comprise a force equal to any challenge when working together. To dream of a better world—a world of peace and promise—is something we have all been taught to do. Yet today, to keep on dreaming is really an effort— so often our busy world seems to get in the way. Dreams realized take on new dimensions when shared—as our community responded to Dr. Patrick Nolan’s Emmy Award for “The Jericho Mile”—sharing the success of a teacher and a friend. 8

0REfl MS ach graduating class represents countless individual dreams. Yet the seniors who leave share memories that bind them together—four years of dreaming, scheming, learning, loving, and living, and watching Villanova change along with themselves. This year in a special way Villanova as a whole realizes a dream. By daring to build the Connelly Center our University has set an example for us; faculty, staff and students stand as one in sharing the joy of working and succeeding together. What was only an architect’s sketch is a busy activity center—and the people who enter its doors are now keeping the dream alive.
