In spite of the rainy Jay, those special” girls, our mothers, were welcomed to Villa- riora’s campus with a warmth and ferror that melted away the clouds. Mother’s Day, a Junior Week tradition, commences with a risit to the Chapel to witness the Holy Sacri- fice of the Mass. Hellos” and I’d like yon to meets” are heard as we escort our proud moms through the campus we hare learned to know and lore. The pinning of the cor- sage, the posing for pictures, and the many other tender moments bring to a close a day that will long be remembered by all.

 It's Friday night and as )unior Week draws to a close, the Juniors and their dates venture to the Field House to hear the offbeat sounds of Maynard Ferguson and his band, and thrill to the melodious harmony of The Four Lads. The blare of trumpets, the syncopated sounds of jazz, the reflection of the brass, and the warm sounds of song fill the air and combine to make this an evening of enjoyable music.
