CALIFORNIA Dear Students, You are absorbing your high school education at a critical time in the progress of the world. The Post-Sputnik age is an interesting one to experience. All the peoples of the earth are looking to the firmament with thoughts of conquest. This current crisis is a challenge to education, and it is a fanciful outlook for you. We know you are grateful to the Augustinian Fathers and laymen who are chartering your advancement through the secondary level. You are gaining not only the necessary knowledge of mundane things but you are being taught the science of Religion. Your conscience, your inner self, your religious sensibilities are being cultivated. This is, indeed, of paramount importance to you. In fact the whole man is in the process of development because you are enabled to HEX strong in muscle and brawn. So you should find yourself soon a finished youthful product poised to receive the demands of higher education, and 1ife's combat.
