.SJOIUAOWQOPQJ . . . laloroac ing Me WJJL Comme The wise fools have earned a name for themselves with their gen- erous contributions and hard work for the foreign missions this year. They also presented the popular Christmas Formal, which was a high- ly applauded success. The Sophomore Class boasts of a high representation on the honor roll, along with the fact that many of their class have taken part in all sports made available at Villanova. This has been one of the most pro- ductive years in their high school learning. At the beginning of the school year, they had a feeling of relief that their freshman year was over, and also a feeling of excite- mentg for they knew that this would be the first year that they could really apply themselves. Their studies were a little harder, and they 5, LEFT TO RIGHT: Robert Pozos, president, William Dougherty. vice president, Lance Sherman, treasurer, Michael Biernetzky, student council representative, David Martin, secretary. had a few more responsibilities, but they made up their minds to have a successful year, and did. These up-and-coming young mem- bers of the new generation have now graduated from the ranks of the un- derclassmen, and are further devel- oping their bodies, their souls, and their minds to achieve their goals in this life and in the life to come. Now that they are at the half way point in their high school education, it is easy to see that the indelible mark which they will leave at Villa- nova will be one of great honor and satisfaction.
