The Viking Concert Choir performs many times each year before the students and other groups. The group has about 55 members and their music is indeed soothing. Mr. Flick is the conductor of this fine group. The elementary choir meets every day of the week during the fourth period. It serves as a training choir for the Concert Choir. Mr. Flick is the leader of this choir. 36

U U IN b K Those students who best display the qualities of leadership, scholarship, character, citizenship, and service are selected by the faculty every year. The faculty advisor is Mr. Arthur Lloyd. Shown above is the entire Junior Honor Society following the formal induction of new members in January of this year. Members of the Junior Honor Society sell votes to determine who will be the first Valentine Queen. The profits from the dance will be used to purchase a small award for those students who have made the Honor Roll for at least two years.
