he azfgeless appeal of music This year as we celebrate our silver jubilee, we cannot help being impressed with the amazing progress of our musical department and its activities. The choir has attained wide- spread fame for its musical productions. It has performed for charitable organizations, has sung on radio and. has given an annual Christmas TV show for many years. It has also cut records for the Columbia and RCA recording companies and has appeared with the Trenton Symphony Orchestra. This year the choir was accorded the honor of singing at a medieval program for the Friends of the Rare Book Room in New York City. Despite such successes, the music department, under the capable and loving direction of Sr. Eliza- beth Parente has a characteristic which is nec- essary for any artistic group, the rufusal to rest on past laurels. l wif, gl tl K s ' DHL I A 'Jil fi P l The choir watches Sr. Elizabeth Parente as she competently directs them through a fast number.
