Students warm the ground. 6. 2 Theme Heavy discussions were seen during rnealtime. l , That great mystery of Time, were there no other, the illimitable, silent, l never-resting thing called time, rolling, rushing on, swift, silent, like an all l embracing ocean-tide, on which we and all the Universe swim like exhala- tions, like apparitions which are, and then are not: this is forever very X literally a miracle, a thing to strike us dumb,-for we have no word to speak about it. Carlyle Each minute became more valuable. The year passed all too quickly, and l yet not quickly enough. School began and new friendships were made while old friendships which withstood the weathering of summer were rekindled. With the casualness of summer still on our minds, the times were exciting-meeting new people and having new experiences. There were places to go, things to do, people to be with. Whether it was sharing a lazy lunch on the grass with someone special, or being in the middle of a boisterous crowd at a Friday night football game, one was never alone. Time was to share, to be used up lest it should never be caught again. Each moment was precious, but it was ours. ,Q ir' Wil I. . 2' B If J -'ski' 4 l tk 5 lei
