V X., 4 x ' Through the pain and struggle of preparing, Villa Park emerged ready to meet the challenges and acce t the fruits of its labors. The goals, achievements, and accomplish- ments were reflected in what Villa Park was. More than a learning cen- ter, Villa Park became a showcase of sorts for the talent its students possessed. Whether it was announced or spon- taneous, Villa Park performed al- most constantly. In our relationships we learned the basic fundamental of our individuality. We accepted our personal character, beliefs, and interests, realizing it is these factors which make each one of us different from those around us. Our singularity contributed to Villa Park's oneness, for in knowing our- selves we were able to understand and accept others. This self-aware- ness proved an invaluable tool in determining each individual's place within Villa Park. The unity demon- strated in our pep assemblies, at games, in recitals and other experi- ences at Villa Park formed the basis for its greatness. Revealing mem- ories of people and individuals, the ODYSSEY preserves a period of ex- pressive history in our lives. 7, .,,,,, MW- ........ ..., ..,,. . , ,-
