The gate! Where does it lead? To the future. ' to happi- ness? to success? And as we neared the gate, what thoughts filled our minds. ' Nostalgically they turned to the past — to that day when we first saw the letter with the return address: Villa Maria College, 8th and Lib- erty, Erie, Pennsylvania. The first day of orientation. ' We paused — anxious and a little afraid. Before us loomed our preparation for life. Outside we would leave our high school days. Inside we would begin our maturity.
