RED CROSS AND F.B.L.A. The Red Cross has been known for its commu- nity service and its dedication to helping others. Villa's Red'Cross Club undertook holiday pro- jects Which combined the work of their hands with the generosity of their hearts in helping and cheering those less fortunate than themselves. They also help in preserving the gift of life by sponsoring an annual blood bank. The chartered members of the Future Business Leaders of America work together in planning and carrying out projects and activities designed to teach them the fundamentals of business op- eration. With the help of Miss Fatta, they organ- ized baked good sales and skating parties to practice firsthand management skills and social etiquette necessary in the business world. Many hands took an active part in quilt- ing to complete this coverlet. Seniors in the advanced food preparation class participated in a contest sponsored by Fleishmann's Food products. Under Sister Mi- chaeline's direction, they prepared and served well balanced meals to children from the Vil- la Maria Learning Center. Through an enter- taining puppet show, the girls taught them 'about good nutrition. Cathy Cialone, Michelle Collins, Clare Ceranski, and Debbie Dudziak work on a patchwork quilt. 134
