Mary Ann Distel, Marie Babuia, Sandra Jagodzinski. SOPHOMORES Many of us are still puzzling over the exact meaning of this new ism . . -George McAdam Sophomores are a particularly inquisitive group. They have left the childish antics of a freshman and are rap- idly approaching the hectic world of a junior. They are caught in a limbo, more so than any other group. They are still questioning and pondering over this new iiism -this movement of womanhood. This new value asks them to evaiuate the former and traditional roles of women. Feminism they ask themselves? What is femi- nism? Of what importance is it to me? Is it good for me? What is time ? . And so they arrive at the classic question, What IS me? It is the answer to this question that is so sought after by many young people who are questioning the values set before them. The solution is one the soph- omores must discover for themselves. This awereness of themselves may be found in feminism-a growmg and maturing process of women. 79
