CHLEHDHH School starts- here we go again. Boo hool Labor Day--No school. First Football game--Unity Freshman Potluck- -That class is in there pitching. Homecoming--Tuscola. Pancakes and sausage for everyone. Surely not again, but, ah yes, exams. Last Football game--Oakwood Armistice Day-- No school. Watch out, rabbits and pheasants. Senior Play Professor, How Could Youl --We don't know. First basketball game--Newman. Thanksgiving Dance--Oh my poor feet. End of 2nd six weeks, Ughl Thanksgiving Vacation. Sorry for the turkeys but hurrah for usl Benny's Boys entertained us at a Christmas Dance. Christmas Vacation--Have a nice Christmas. School resumes--Back to the dungeon! END OF THE FIRST SEMESTERI l lThat means that half of the year has gone by already. 5 Douglas County Band Festival-- Soft Sweet Music I2 Lincoln had another birthday, which meant a vacation for us. I9 Douglas County Chorus Festival-- Sing it Sweetl 20 Douglas County Institute--Students joyous: teachers had to study. 24 Westville--Last basketball game. 27 Another six weeks gone byl IO F.F.A. Potluck--Good food-poor calfll I2 This week is the Sectional Basketball Tourney! I3 This is Friday the 13th again. I4 District solo and Ensemble Contests. -- Music Music Musicl I7 The State Basketball Tourney starts! I This is a tricky day. 3 GOOD FRIDAY--No Schoolll 1 II District Music Contest--Play your best. 24 Junior Play-- Curtain Going Upl Don't forget your lines. 2 State Music Finals--Play it well. Fine Arts Festival- -Very good. District Track Meet- -Run fast boys. 5 8 I2 District Baseball this week. I6 Junior-Senior Prom--all the formals and ties were really knockouts.
