MAY DAY The familiar strains of Pomp and Circumstance filled the hearts of all as the Queen Nancy Richter, and her attendants, followed by important kindergarteners, walked through the milling throng to approach the impressive throne. A solemn stillness punctuated the first ex- citement of May Day, only to be interrupted by the pageant, depicting the pastimes of Fifty Golden Years. Another May Day had begun. Too soon it ended and for the seniors of 1950, there will never be another like it.
