'fzesiman Ulu: ,Vqwg The class of '58 met in Room 3 to find Miss Wiggins as our home-room teacher. We had eight new members which made twenty-eight members in all. We chose the following officers for the year: President: Dale Dustin Vice-President: Joanne Pitcher Secretary: Ethel Clark Treasurer: Beverly Neal Historian: Sydney Strong On September 24, l954, we enjoyed the Freshman Reception. We had fun even though we were the freshmen. September 30, l954, was the day of the fair. Dale Dustin and Joanne Pitcher represented our class in one of the plays, HilIbilly High Jinks . We entered a float in the parade. lt was the Jimmy Fund for which we collected S27.00. We were well represented on the cheerleading squads this year: varsity, Joanne Pitcher, iunior varsity: Elizabeth Hartwell, Ruth Renz, and Ethel Clark. O1 the I- v. basketball squad are: Sydney Strong, Dale Dustin and Tom Marx. The student council members are Dale Dustin and Patricia Batchelder. We gave the St. Patrick's Day Party on March I7. Ethel Clark, Secretory WELCOME, FRESHMENl QM... W.. fophomne glass zffeuu The sophomore class gathered on September 8 in Room 5 with Miss Serpico and Mr. Johnson as our class advisers. Our class officers are: President, Francis Stevens, vice-president, Lorraine Snow, secretary, Anne Burroughs, and treasurer, Bernadette Burke. In the fair parade, we entered a covered wagon as our float. The class was very proud when it won second prize. Ellen Chase, Madelene Eckon, Carlene Bean, Anne Burroughs, Raymond Spencer, and William Harrington acted in the plays on fair night. Our class dues were set at 51.75. We also voted to sell milk until November. Many of our class members represented us on the football and basketball teams and on the cheerlead- ing squad. Lorraine Snow and Everett Bragg were ushers at the A. A. Dance. In February we put on the Valentine Party. Anne Burroughs , Secretary
