Y0 'l'II Fllll CHRI 'I' I VII ' Mot Ailii 0 Club Every Wednesday during the school year a taithtul group of Youth For Christ followers gathered in the lower study hall and held inspirational meetings. Shirley Hundley, the song leader, and Barbara Rose, pianist, began the meeting with a selection of gospel songs. Jim Corbitt, the president or Bennie Russell, the vice-president, then took charge of the group and introduced the speaker. The speakers usually are ministers, students from VHS or surrounding colleges. Mary Ann Plater, Secretary and Treasurer, was kept busy recording the minutes ot the meeting and collecting dues. Among the many things accomplished by the YFC during '50-'SI was the organization of a Gospel Caravan. This Caravan group traveled to churches of all denominations, and presented religious pro- grams throughout the year.
