On April 6, members of the home economics and art classes presented a combined show. Work of the art classes was on exhibit in the gym and home ec girls land boysl modeled the year's sewing projects. Paul Turner, freshman, won the prize for the largest kite flown. His kite was twelve feet long and seven feet wide. Joe Dean Goddard, also a freshman, won the prize for the most novel kite while James Annable, sophomore, and James Mathis freshman, shared in the prize for the highest flying kite.'Clifford Bradshaw, freshman, had the smallest kite and Don Myers and Bobby Plunkett, both sophomores, won in the box kite division. The kite made by the art classes was not a prize winner but it was certainly unusual in appearance.
