irates Escapades Brigadettes take the stage in a dance routine to the song, 8:15 to Nowhere. The Vidor High School Auditorium stage lit up with talent and beauties at the annual Escapades. The title of the 20th Annual Pirates Escapades over-all Beauty went to Iunior Lisa Tullos. Tullos was selected by a panel of judges from a group of 21 contestants. She is presently a Varsity Cheerleader and was last year's sophomore beauty. Grand prize in the Talent competition was won by Rebecca Packard who perfonned a vocal solo. The 24 acts were divided into two age divisions. In the senior division top honors went to Shawn Hemphill for her vocal solo. james Reese received second place for his singing performance. The third place position was won by Ienifer Wrinkle who sang while Silke Schafer accompanied on the piano. The junior competition brought Kera Morrison first place for her vocal solo while second place went to Melissa Bryant who performed a dance twirl solo routine. Priscilla Packard sang her way to the third place trophy. Colleen Wood took the honors of senior class beauty. Lori Taylor was selected junior beauty while Christi Boaz was named sophomore beauty. Alisa May was chosen most beautiful for her freshman class. Other contestants included Seniors Krissy Benoit, Misty Calcote, Llara Firman and Mitzi Mahana, Iuniors Erin Goodell, Heather Lyle, Lori Reevesp Sophomores Tonia Britt, Pati Cure, Fawn Harrington, Kim Humphrey and Ginger Powell, Freshmen Donna Aycock, Kim Baldwin, Capri Croft and Kendra Smith. Christy Boaz sings The Greatest Love of All in the talent division ofthe Escapades.

SCRUB-A-DUB-DUB Pl PPIES I A TUB The doggie wash was sponsored by the Interact Club. They held various activities during the week of St. Patrick's Day to raise money for M.D.A. They raised 5350 with a Shamrock sucker sale, green cupcake sale, green Kool-Aid chug-a-lug and the dog wash. .Mins ...swf f, ,af- Q Scarlett Holmes and Kim Walker bathe one of Vidor's homeless.
