Best of '87 Traditionally, the highlight of the junior-senior prom is the announcement of the Best of from the senior class. The Class of 1987 made selections in 20 categories capped by the announcement of Douglas Harvill and Darla White as Mr. and Miss VHS. Pirate Press sponsors the competition and David Bowman, newspaper editor, presented the certificates. Mr. and Miss VHS, Douglas Harvill and Darla White. L3 fi, fa' C1 Most Likely to Succeed and Most Intelligent honors went to Johnny Broomes and Shannon Schreck. Best Physique and Figure were shown in Greg Ellis and Laura Cessac.
