Campus Life Colorful Conglomeration Spirit and sweethearts shared the spotlight in campus life of 1987. Pep rallies tested the spirit of the seniors against the cries of the underclassmen. Turbulent weather forced pep rallies into the gym more than the stadium, but students made up for cramped quarters with hearing- crushing cheering. The traditional Pie the Principal contest resulted in face-fuls for Mr. Webb and Mr. Robinson who tied for the honor. Mrs. Beeson decked out in punk attire to mark the occasion. The indoor pep rallies were just as exciting with teachers taking to the floor and football players replacing cheerleaders. Love truimphed in February as organizations sought to locate the lovers for fund raisers. The annual staff organized a Computer Dating Service, FTA sold Valentine posies and Iunior Planning Committee sold candy.
