Apple dessert Contest Louise Eakin, local and county winner Cherry Pie Contest Louise Eakin, local winner Farm Show Demonstration Team Laraine Keller, Dorothy Jugila Mary Ann Griffin, Louise Eakln Representatives to State FHA Conference, June 9, 10, ll Judy Michael, Secretary Treasurer, Region A l Caroline Ekis, Judy Snow, Nancy Gadsby Visual Aids letters were awarded by Mr Charles DeLong to seniors Pete Orr and Larry Wftherup Cheerleaders 1etters were presented by Mr Robert Rice at the Basketball Banquet KE this time they received a certificate Varsity Carol Ann Farren, Captain, Marjorie Miller, Mary Lou Johnson, Elva McKinley, Carolyn Riddle, Co captain, Libby Burns Junior Varsity Wilda Johnson, Captain, Ginnie Allen, Sandy Fuchs, Pat Gooden Athletic awards were presented by Mr Bernard Barnes and Mr Wilmer Louus Mr Barnes recognized the gym team members who provided the school an added area of attainment this year Letters and sweaters had been previouslv awarded at the Basketball Banquet to seniors Tinker Richmond, Captain, Don McFadden, Gary Hutchison Letters were also awarded to Richard Adams, Tom Brown, Richard Campbell, Elmer Reagle, Jack Richmond, and Gerald Garris, Manager Mr Lopus recognized the captains of the 7th and bth Grade Intramurals Volleyball Vernon Milliron, Girls Basketball Kathy Mundorf, Girls Volley ball Betty Bozell, Ruth Ford Letters had previously been awarded to the Junior H1 h team members Clifford Ekls, Captain, Lynn Gibson, Ed Wike, Jim HcFEdden, Ronald Russell, Steve Benton, Gary Hovis, Mike Smith, George Ford, Larry Miller, Mike Watrobsky, Earle McKinley, and John Best, Manager The following members of the Junior Varsity team were recognized Bill McFadden, Dave Bixler, Gary Hovis, Dick c ur y, Vernon Ford, Richard Welton, Jim Hoffman, Len Adams, Ron Craig, Don Coursen Mr Lopus made the following remarks The Junior Varsit had a M and lk record, the best for any Junior Varsity team in the schooI's history This team also scored more points per game than any other J V team Bill McFadden was the leading scorer with lO2 points The Junior High had a split even this season with 6 wins and 6 losses Four losses were by a total of 7 points This is the best record to date of any Victory team Steve Benton paced the Junior Trojans with ph points The Junior High team out scored their opponents 322 points to 303 points Tinker Richmond, Varsity Team Captain, responded to the Coach's remarks The School Band provided music during the program N 5 , Boys Wrestling - Richard Garrlsg Boys Basketball - Richard Parentfg Boys ' y I
