AWARDS ASSEMBLY - MAY 9, 1958 High scholastic honors were announced by Mr Brose Thompson, guidance director First rank-ln Senior Class Judith Wareham, Second Larry Witherup Third Judith Smalley, Fourth Joan Gibson The annual English awards were made by Mrs Ruth McKee, Woman's Club Presi dent, to Larry Witherup and Judy Wareham Each year this civic organization gives 55 each to the senior boy and girl having tue highest average in English The P T A established a group of awards to encourage high school pupils to follow a subject field for four years Mrs Agnes Guiste, President, awarded 35 to the student having the highest average in each of five subject areas Homemaking Shirley Royer Science Gary Hutchison, Don McFadden Agriculture Rruce Hunter QTied for lst place!
