1961 Class Honors HELEN THORP Selected for the top honor in the Senior Class is Helen Thorp, whc has maintained a 3.72 average. Helen is also active in many clubs including Honor Society and Student Council. She is enrolled in the Commercial Course and plans to become a secretary after graduation. Winona Valentine, placing second in a class of 164, won the title of Salutatorian. She averaged an enviable 3.61. Winona, too, is an all-’round student. She is an active member in most clubs in our school. Winona, who is enrolled in the Commercial Course, is undecided as to what field she will enter after graduation. 28 WINONA VALENTINE
