CLASS KILL We, the Senior Class of Victory High School, considering ourselves well acquainted with modern problems and English, knowing that we are the most educated class to leave dear old Victory, make, publish and declare this our last will and testament to be executed in the following order: ARTICLE I —-TO THE FACULTY To our Principal, Mr. J. Edward Powell, we leave our thanks and appreciation for his helpful guidance. To Mrs. Brown, our school secretary, we leave all the slightly used yellow slips to pass out to the students in her following years at Victory. To Mrs. Morgan, we leave...........aren't you glad? To Miss Gray, we leave our hopes that next year’s class will be more understanding and considerate of her efforts in trying to teach modern problems. To Miss Xenakis we leave our sincere thanks for her help in making our junior class play a success. To Mrs. Bell we leave our appreciation for her having made Victory High School nationally known. To Mrs. Martin, we leave our thanks for her helpful guidance. To Mr. Hess we leave our thanks for his accurate tabulations of games. To coaches, Jack Moore and Neil Sappington, we leave our thanks for such a splendid football season and our hopes for a better basketball season. To Mr. Mittong we leave all the bugs we don't take with us. To Mrs. Paine we leave all the pots and pans and hope she gets a bang out of it. To Mrs. Pyle we leave our hopes that someday she will again have a class as intelligent as ours. To Mrs. Dillaman, we the journalism class, leave her our gratitude for making this book possible and for making journalism class loads of fun. ARTICLE II —-TO THE CLASSES To the juniors we leave the front steps and the middle section of the auditorium. To the sophomores we leave this motto If at first you don’t succeed try, try, and try again.” To the classes in general we leave the great Victory Spirit.” ARTICLE III----TO INDIVIDUALS I, Okey Kimberling, leave to Chester Whitehair my ability to walk up the front steps and crawl to the classes. I, Betty Ann Tasker, being of sound mind (supposedly) will my beloved seat in Trig class to any Junior girl brave enough to sign up for it. I, Bob Townsend, will my voice to some member of the A'Cappella Choir. I, Mary Elaine Tate, will my ability to learn the Dagger scene tc anyone who cannot learn it. We, Faye Weekley and Mary Karnis, do, we hope leave dear old Victory. I, Raymond Romain, will my ability to win essay contests to Archie Glaspell. I, Charles Wells, will to my brother Jack Wells my uniforms in football, basketball, and baseball. As three year Captain of the Biology class I, Dale Wheeler, leave the great honor to Ronnie Alonzo and Joe Perri. Good luck boys! I, Beverly Wyckoff, leave my cheerleading position and a bottle of liniment to help stiff joints to Lou Flint.
