Making music together provides band members with active, fun schedules! riendships, skill, and fun were all aspects of being part of the VHS band. Complicated half-time shows as well as difficult concert music required students to work many long hours together. Because of the great amount of time spent together, many lasting friendships were formed, while frequent rehearsals taught members to be excellent players and performers. Although band was a demanding activity, it was also fun because the rapid pace left no room for boredom.
