Laura Trotter shows horses Laura Trotter is one of the few students at Vic- toria High School who shows horses. She shows in the American Paint Horse Association IAPHAJ in . the youth division. Laura has had a great love for horses all her life. At age ten she received her lst horse. Since then, i she has had three horses. The last horse Laura had she took to the State 4-H Horse Show and made the l finals in two events. With this horse, Laura receiv- yed four All-Arounds which means the most top placings for the day's show. She was also named Gulf Coast Youth Paint Horse Queen in 1980. . Laura has a new horse at this point named Strictly-Class. She plans to continue showing and yhopefully compete in a State 4-H show and the Na- tional Paint Horse Show in Oklahoma City. the its S - 1 . K - , g , 'Li ' .ny ..
