D.E.C.A. sells itself The Distributive Education Clubs of America lD.E.C.A.j is made up of students in Distributive Education. Members are taught skills in merchandising and human relations. The D.E.C.A. - Cohn club had two money- making projects this year. In November a bake sale was held at Town Plaza Shopping Mall. Early in the year the annual sausage sale took place, which is their major source of income. One community service project was held in December. Ron Shafer dressed up as Santa and the club visited young children in Victoria. David McArthur, President Marilyn Machart, Vice-Pres. OEA-works toward future OEA is a national organiza- tion which includes students who wish to excel in office skills. OEA stands for Office Education Association. At Vic- toria High School, members are Iunior students who are prepar- ing to be in VOE Wocational Office Educationl. In VOE Co- op, members attended class part of the day, and worked in a place of business the remainder ofthe day. Cynthia Bustamante, Patricia Aguillon, Cynthia Zapata, Dina Reyes, Kecia Correll, Susan Casey, Ma Kaigler, Diane Burger, Rclbin Hart- man, Traciy Williams, Marie Ross, an Sylvia Morales were the 1981-1982 OEA members.
