Experience of hard work Distributive Education is the largest voca- tional education club at Victoria High School. Because of this there are two DECA clubs found on the campus. The sponsor of the second group is Mr. Rickey Ramseur. His club consisted of twenty-eight members. DECA-Ramseur members learned basic marketing functions, and the importance of our free enterprise system. The students attend three regular classes, one period of Distributive Education, and then are out for the rest of the day to report to their jobs found throughout our community. To end a year of hard work combined with good work experience and loads of fun, the members were honored with a 7:30 a.m. breakfast at Totah's. Freshman Evans George captures the ti- tle of Ugly Man. D.E.C.A. sells itself The Distributive Education Clubs of America lD.E.C.A.j is made up of students in Distributive Education. Members are taught skills in merchandising and human relations. The D.E.C.A. - Cohn club had two money- making projects this year. In November a bake sale was held at Town Plaza Shopping Mall. Early in the year the annual sausage sale took place, which is their major source of income. One community service project was held in December. Ron Shafer dressed up as Santa and the club visited young children in Victoria. David McArthur, President Marilyn Machart, Vice-Pres.
